FIFA World Ultimate Team assembles the best players from international and club competition around the world

EA's soccer series exists in another free-to-play form in Korea, as FIFA Online 3. EA is currently working to bring FIFA Online 3 for mainland China and Southeast Asia. FIFA World is expected to launch in November 2013, with Brazillian and Russian gamers currently able to sign up for a closed beta test. The next console version of the series, FIFA 14, will be released for current-gen platforms on September 24 in North America, and September 27 in Europe. The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions, which use EA Sports' new Ignite engine, will follow.

"By bringing the FIFA franchise to the PC platform as a free-to-play game, we give millions of new fans their chance to experience the authentic FIFA experience, with award-winning gameplay and licensed leagues,” Grimbley said in a press statement. “At the same time, existing FIFA fans now have a new way to enjoy the game they already love, with fresh daily content and the ability to play on almost any PC.” FIFA World is available in Brazilian Portuguese, English, French, German, Polish, Russian, Spanish, Mexican Spanish and Turkish.

In its current form, FIFA World has no answer to this, and it will need one if it's intended to run for a number of years. FIFA World also has to worry about its gameplay engine becoming out of date over time, and handling the transition to something shinier and more recent may be similarly tricky. FIFA World is only in beta, of course, so we can expect changes over time, perhaps even dramatic ones, as EA Sports wrestles with the brave new world it's entering. Hopefully some of its early tussles will be with lingering bugs, like the way the game sometimes hangs at the end of a match, and the addition of other tournament setups beyond the basic offerings available today.

An example of a pack opened on FIFA World, including two Team of the Week or "in form" items. The Ultimate Team game mode allows players to build unique squads within their club using players bought from the live transfer market or acquired in packs, which can be opened using coins earned in matches or "FIFA Points". Packs can also be earned by completing certain in-game accomplishments.

You cant judge this game a hole lot yet as it is in BETA. Yes beta in caps because I can't stress that enough they're working on it constantly and have an update come out every 2 weeks of so. I have 85 hours in this game I have never had any beef against it. graphics are good for a sports game and gameplay is decent. Over all this game is not bad especially for a free to play game that is in BETA!
