FIFA World is the next edition of the very popular and well-known among fans of virtual football series stands for the success of the Canadian EA Sports. This time, however, in contrast to the fully-fledged, annual editions, the game is based on the business model of free-to-play. The game is based on the popular module FIFA Ultimate Team - a special sport mode, in which, card collecting and exchanging them with other players, we are trying to build the best squad, paying attention to the statistics of individual players and their rip. Using its own, created the syndrome, we attended, among others Online seasons, where we try to advance to higher and higher league dueling with other players, or we face the Fellowship Week composed of players controlled by the computer AI, chosen by the authors on the basis of the current forms presented by their actual ancestors in the league.
As for the Ultimate Team concept, it's basically 'Magic the Gathering' with soccer players. You play with 18 cards in a match, 11 starters, six bench players, one coach. Other cards are used between matches to improve existing cards, and you get cards through winning or through buying. The coach is key for contract negotiations, and a good coach card should be one of the first cards pursued by new players.
With all the passion for the World Cup Soccer, the site of Electronic Arts announced that the FIFA World Beta version is now available for Latin America and be free. The version released today includes FIFA Ultimate Team, Seasons and, of course, leagues, including official license from the MX Liga, Liga Argentina, Petrobras National Championship, Liga Postobon Colombia and Peru national team. The only thing you need to enjoy the game is to download the FIFA World software, have an Origin Account (sign in page), a PC with average specifications, internet broadband and ready band. For those awaiting the launch of FIFA console, the premiere will be in April 2014 under the name of 'FIFA World Cup Brazil'.
"With over 600 clubs in 31 officially licensed leagues, users will have access to their favorite players and clubs all over the world, including official license from the MX, Liga Argentina, Petrobras National Championship, League Colombia Liga Postobon and equipment national of Peru, "explained Electronic Arts.
The RPG elements come in with all the accessory cards that you can get. They include cards to train your players and improve their stats, cards that immediately heal or replenish their stamina, and even cards that you use to sign your players to contracts (hint: players will not play without one) In addition to those, you also have manager cards, coach cards, physio cards, team uniform cards, stadium cards and even a soccer ball card letting you choose which one to use in game. Basically everything that is customizable in real life can be done in the game.
This is partly because I already know Ultimate Team well, so I'm able to avoid difficulties that might push new players towards the store (such as running out of player contracts or suspensions impacting a threadbare squad), but another part of it is that FIFA World is more generous with its rewards. As well as earning a decent wedge of coins for every game, which is standard for Ultimate Team, a set of 'Accomplishments' lavish you with bonuses and packs for doing things like levelling up, scoring with players from specific teams or winning a certain number of matches.
