FIFA 15 has been given a new title update on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 and PC. The new update introduces authentic player faces for promoted teams like Leicester City, Burnley and QPR, as well as players, kits and badges for new MLS teams. It also adds new 'FIFA Ultimate Team' player portraits and the ability to assign player instructions through the squad screen. EA Sports has also made a host of general gameplay tweaks, including improved cameras, defensive positioning, player names and stability fixes. Minus one or two omissions, the updates are largely the same across new-gen versions and their Xbox 360 and PS3 counterparts. FIFA 15 is out now on consoles and PC. It topped the all-format gaming chart for six weeks before being knocked off by Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
The virtual soccer experience is ultimately determined by the opponent AI, and the opposing teams in FIFA 15 put up a good challenge during a match. The AI in FIFA 14 could sometimes be a bit too challenging, pulling off some feats that left your team members in the dust. The AI in FIFA 15 is still tough, though not as flawless in spotting openings in your defence and exploiting them before you can react. The AI in FIFA 15 remains quick-witted and aggressive, though the same does not always hold true for your team. Often it is up to you to go and chase down a ball that is open, as your team members show a lack of willingness to dash alongside opposing players. Relying too much on your team members means your ball will be stolen, passes are botched, and even the occasional off-side.
Senior producer Nick Channon said: "Whether it is the most real players or series of comprehensive and authentic copy of the stadium bleachers, this year we will be in the game to bring players a higher level of visual enjoyment." He also said that the effect is just amazing just part of the game. The added processing power of the PlayStation 4 has resulted in several tweaks to the game. Shots on goal are now more realistic. In the past the soccer ball would either get past the goalkeeper or not, but now the position and movement can influence if the ball gets past or not. Seeing the ball bounce off the goalkeeper’s limbs or slip underneath him adds another layer of realism to the game.
As i’m sure you’ll have all read by now, fixed “Price Ranges” are on their way to FUT 15. But what does that mean for coin selling, player pricing, trading, future games and more? We take a look at all those questions below but make sure you check-out the FUT Price Ranges announcement first, as it contains a lot of the detail behind this piece. What impact will Price Ranges have on coin selling?
The addition of Price Ranges in FUT will likely have a huge impact on coin selling, as it targets the principle in-game vehicle for the selling itself; cheap players. Put a Bronze LB on the market for 2 million coins, pass the details to the supplier and boom, instant access to coins. With the lowest FUT Price Range to be set between 150 and 5000 coins, that simply won’t be possible anymore. Now if you wish to set a Buy Now price of for example 2 million, you’ll need to actually own a player that’s worth that amount. By which point (as you may have worked already out) if you own someone that valuable, you may as well just sell that player on the open market to generate funds.
